No Longer our Empire State

Ugh. This is challenging to write. We LOVE New York. Love it. What's not to love? Amazing food, great people, a neverending list of activities - not to mention having had good jobs! But LA was calling our names- Jen's family, a shorter flight to Australia and Errol's family, and pretty phenomenal palm trees and year-round weather. Thus, with very sad hearts, we packed up what was left of our stuff after selling/donating most of it, packed our rented SUV, and said goodbye to a city that will forever hold our hearts.
