What do you get when you combine star studded deserts, charming beach towns, fun schops (Fanta mixed with beer, obviously), adorable German-influenced communities, volcanoes everywhere, amazing empanadas, beautiful vineyards with delicious wine, glaciers and towering mountains, and more mayonnaise than has ever existed in one place? Chile, of course!
Our three weeks exploring this amazing country are summed up below, with photos including the bustling Santiago, wine tasting at the famous Concha y Torro, the beautiful views and street art of Valparaiso, hiking up the snow-capped Osorno volcano outside of Puerto Varas (excited to be near the top!), and last but certainly not least, a 4 day boat ride through the fjords of Northern Patagonia, taking us from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales. This is one country we will most definitely be returning to some day.
